Workshop Planner — online scheduling for service mechanics
Planner is a web app for car and truck service workshops that replaces the whiteboard or the Excel sheet. One screen shows the whole workshop day: every mechanic has a column, and jobs sit on a timeline as colour-coded cards.
Features
- Day board. Click a time slot to create a job. Drag it to move it to another mechanic or time, resize it to change its length. Overlaps and working hours are checked automatically.
- Job cards: licence plate, company, order number, driver contact, task list, comment and job type. The colour shows the status: pre-order, order, finished, info.
- Copy a job to another day, search by plate, company or text, and jump to any date.
- Hours and shifts: working hours per mechanic and weekday, shift templates and rotations, holidays and absences (also part-day), and national public holidays.
- Company list with autocomplete and flags (OK / caution / problem customer).
- Service invitations: tracks vehicles invited for service and matches them to a job automatically when the plate is entered.
- Teams and roles: share a planner by invitation (owner, admin, editor, mechanic, viewer). Mechanics see their schedule and can add comments or mark work as done.
- Notifications: when a mechanic changes something, the manager gets a bell alert and a pop-up toast.
- Statistics: day, month and year dashboards. Finished jobs, booked hours, completion rate and per-mechanic performance in charts and a heatmap.
- Month and year calendars for a quick overview.
- Backups: one-click download, a daily backup by email, and restore.
- Multiple planners per account, several languages (CZ / EN / SK / IT), and a built-in user manual. Runs in any browser on desktop, tablet or phone.
